How to choose a trampoline

With such a wide range of trampoline options available, these tips should help you narrow down your choice.
* Size - trampolines are usually measured in feet and its the outside edge to outside edge. Meaning the area you bounce on is around 2ft smaller than the trampoline size. You also need some clearance so branches or bushes don't rub and damage the net or if someone falls into the net, they don't hit anything, usually its 2m clearance.
* Warranty - from months to years, the more warranty the more likely the trampoline will last longer and be better quality.
* Number of Springs and Length - more springs mean a better bounce and it can take a heavier weight, also longer springs have more coils so also better springs.
* Weight of trampoline - Overall boxed weight, means more steel and more springs, which should make a stronger trampoline.
* Rectangular, Round or Octagonal - Users of round trampolines will land back in the middle of the trampoline even if they lift off at the edge, other shapes, you land where you took off. Rectangular trampolines are the shape of professional models but have some limit of play area. Octagonal models often have individual legs, making them better for uneven ground.
* Net dropping - if you live somewhere exposed or windy, you will need to drop the trampoline net down to stop it breaking or being damaged in the wind, the quick drop ones are amazing. If your in a sheltered garden even when the net is at full height, this shouldn't be an issue.
